The TV blanking adjustments (Size and
Position) determine the section of the picture
which is read out of the frame store.
TV blanking is not part of the picture. It be-
haves like an external blanking rendered by
a production switcher.

Select the TV button Submenu
Blanking
Adjust with the digipot or sliders
the vertical blanking,
and
the horizontal blanking.
The blanking settings should limit film picture
content only slightly.
Vertical frame line corrections have to be
made before as described in section 3.7.
